About the Host - Paul Quinn
The Voice Behind the Mic
Paul Quinn is more than a podcast host — he’s a fighter, founder, father and at heart - an incredibly curious human being. From boxing rings to boardrooms, Paul’s journey has been shaped by grit, reinvention, and a relentless belief that no career journey is a straight line.
From Grit to Growth
Raised on discipline and purpose, Paul’s early years in athletics, martial arts and boxing taught him how to take hits, keep moving and rise stronger — lessons that carried through as he built Westport Partners, an Executive Search and Career Coaching firm operating across Asia and beyond.
Based in Singapore with his wife and three children, Paul brings that same raw authenticity to every episode — blending curiosity, empathy, and a refusal to accept surface-level stories.

The Voice Behind the Mic. The Strategy Behind the Story.
Paul is British-born, of Singaporean and Irish descent and is a man of contrasts and connections. From scrubbing toilets to coaching executives, from backstage theatre to boardroom strategy — Paul’s journey is anything but ordinary.
Now based in Singapore, he runs Westport Partners, a boutique Executive Search and Career Coaching Firm operating across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. He’s also the host of The Quinntessential Questions Podcast, where he sits down with Olympians, founders, financiers and fighters to explore what success really looks like.
He brings grit, clarity, and a global lens to every conversation — because he’s lived it, not just read about it.
