In this episode of The Quinntessential Questions Podcast, Paul Quinn sits down with Eleonore Dachicourt, CFA, Head of Sustainable Investments, Asia at a major private bank. From not knowing what a hedge fund was to raising Billions across asset classes and building sustainable investment platforms that grew 800%+, Eleonore's journey spans elite finance, alternative investments, and the evolution of ESG. But this conversation goes beyond portfolio construction.

Eleonore reveals how she protected client capital during the Global Financial Crisis, built a hedge fund platform from zero to $2.5 billion, and why she's now applying the same optimization principles to human performance, through longevity science, biohacking, Muay Thai, and precision nutrition. From Paris to Detroit to London to Singapore, she discusses why banks took shortcuts on greenwashing, what three longevity experts agreed is non-negotiable, and how food choices impact investment decisions. She also opens up about why you can't build a sustainable world if you're not sustaining yourself. Whether you're building wealth, health, or legacy, this episode offers hard-won wisdom on elite finance, sustainable investing, and holistic performance from someone who's proven you don't have to choose.

Guest Bio

Eleonore Dachicourt, CFA, is a global investment leader and Head of Sustainable Investments, Asia, with over 20 years of experience in alternative investments, asset management, and wealth management, having managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios and built sustainable investment platforms across Europe and Asia at leading financial institutions including major Swiss and European banks, specializing in hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and ESG-integrated strategies.

After two decades of elite finance—from not knowing what a hedge fund was to raising over $10 billion across asset classes, meeting with Citadel and Millennium, and protecting client capital through the Global Financial Crisis while retaining 90%+ of AuM—Eleonore has expanded her focus to holistic human performance, integrating longevity science, biohacking, precision nutrition, and wellness coaching into her approach to sustainable investing. Drawing from her INSEAD MBA, CFA charterholder credentials, and lived experience across Paris, Detroit, London, and Singapore (where she's been based since 2011), she now applies the same optimization rigor to both portfolios and people, believing that you cannot build a sustainable world if you are not sustaining yourself—working with high-net-worth clients and next-generation families who understand that elite performance requires both financial resilience and personal optimization, while training in Muay Thai, studying longevity science, and advising as a wellness coach to leaders who refuse to choose between professional excellence and holistic well-being.
